UKPC parking query

Hi coupon mad. Thanks for your comment but I’ve never had a parking issue before. I really don’t know what to appeal with to popla as I have said I’m not the driver. The first 2 signs you encounter on entry were not clear. The times you can park were torn off as it was just a sticker. It was dark. They issued the letter because they say you can’t park there after 7pm. The barrier is constantly up so anyone could fall foul to this.Am I missing something, is there a legality that means I shouldn’t pay? Is there an appeal I can make to guarantee this will be resolved fairly?I know you are very clued up on all of this but to a layperson like me, I just want to resolve it. I had hoped not to pay as I can’t afford it and it isn’t fair but I also can’t afford for further action to be taken both financially and mentally.I wish it was cut and dried and ukpc reviewed the photos I sent and can see that it’s not fair but seems like every thing else, the system is unfair, unreasonable and broken.
I’ve looked at the other ukpc popla appeals and it seems that it could go either way so my thinking is it’s best to pay the least possible.Sorry to ramble but I do hate to go down without a fight if something is unfair.0 -
Please edit your thread title, as this is UKPC.
If you can get photos in the dark (pitch black, not early evening) showing unreadable signs, you could try a POPLA appeal.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
