Good Morning,
I have 15K in a a cash ISA at Chip, this is from the tax year 23. I would want to move it to a new one.
I don't think it is as easy as just transferring it out and creating a new one. As somewhere it has to be marked for that tax year no?
I also have a maxed out Trading 212 with 20K for Tax year 24.
I woudl want to move the Chip to Moneybox or other 4.8% interest ISA.
Could somebody advice on the easiest way to do it as it my first time moving an ISA and it is not so obvious.
Thanks in Advance,
Andy

Your "23" ISA can go to T212 if you wish as it is old money.
To do that just initiate a transfer on the T212 website or app, DO NOT take out any funds form the old ISA, T212 will do the legwork.
If you wish to use another company, open an ISA there and request the transfer via their site/app.1 -
Thanks, the T212 app has a a feature to transfer from, and you can select CHIP, sadly it asks to provide the account number of the CHIP ISA which I am not able to find (online the post are 6 months old). By any chance do you know where it is?0

Remember that once you transfer away from Chip you will be unable to open another account with them.Remember the saying: if it looks too good to be true it almost certainly is.0
