request PAYG advice

Hello. I have a dual sim phone with a single sim card in at present (Three contract sim only) . I would like a second sim for occasional use only that is as cheap to use as possible. The main reason for wanting it is that am sometimes asked to give persons my mobile number, and do not always want to give out to some people my permanent mobile number. I dont want to have to top up every month but have the minutes roll over if possible. Also, topping up only by a small amount eg £2.50 or so would mean I would effectively only pay for what I use and would not be wasting unused minutes.
Please can anyone advise as to what options I might have. Thank you Ian

Asda mobile would work well for you

Rwg, runs on ee network (but slightly limited signal)
https://www.rwgmobile.wales/webshop/offers/order-a-sim/
Tesco lite (you need to pick up a sim then contact them to opt onto the lite tariff) runs on o2

Neither requires any regular topup, just one outgoing call or text every 90 days

RWG would also be an option on their £2/month teaser bundle if you wanted some EE data for those times that Three's coverage is pants.Yes that's not strictly PAYG but it's under your £2.50/month budget .N. There are quite a lot of questions on here asking a very similar question so take a look at those, but I seem to remember people often recommend GiffGaff as well0
