Netflix to hike prices by up to £24 a year – here's what you need to know

Netflix is raising prices across all of its plans by up to £24 a year for both new and existing subscribers. The increases came into effect for newbies on Thursday 6 February, while existing members will be given 30 days' notice by email.

Has anyone else received an email about the price rise? I can’t find anything in my mailbox or see anything on the account & I don’t want to miss the price rise cause I’m strongly considering cancelling.

Is there any facts as to why this increase is happening? There was rumour that the BBC would be trying to claw some money back which it lost through all the people (rightly) cancelling their TV Licence, via Netflix.

How does one cancel their TVL via Netflix?

I had an email on the 9th February warning my Netflix would go up by £1 from the 9th March. My bill is always the 9th of the month, so they gave one months advance notice.
