Update : within 48 hours of handing the n244 at county court, I received an email to say the writ has been stayed. I now am waiting for the date for my set aside hearing.
    Perfect!  Great start. Only £15?

Did your application also ask for an Order that the CCJ be set aside?

Or have you got 2 applications in and paid £303 for the other one?

Have you supplied a WS and case law as seen in recent CCJ set aside cases, e.g. by:

Yes £15. Dropped off forms and the next day I was called to collect payment. Following day (today) I received an email stating the writ had been stayed. The £15 seems to cover the stay of the writ and the forthcoming hearing.

I used a similar witness statement to Danojs7 which I saw @Coupon-mad in the comments. Do we think that should be fine?

Any other steps I should take whilst I wait for the hearing?

    thanks again !!!

No idea if you will now get a hearing unless you asked for an Order to set aside the CCJ. Please answer my questions.

Yep - love it.  Very fast, too.

Tried and tested tactic in cases over £600!

But the OP hasn't clarified whether they'd already paid £303 for the initial application that had been lodged before they came here.

DCB legal must have been gotten word that I have a set aside hearing on the horizon because they’ve emailed me this. Effectively offering to set aside my judgement if I pay the costs for the fines before it went to county court, approximately £1000.

What we thinking? Should I just pay and be done with everything? Or wait and see what happens at set aside hearing (with the possibility of losing)
