    Lloyds Bank is essentialy just Halifax with a green label?  I haven't heard this before.

    They have very similar offerings and the app and website clearly run on the same system with a different branding applied

    Have a look at Gamstop and see if that helps  Most of the other card blocks csn be turned off as easily as they are turned on.

    The best anti-gambling card would be Monzo. Most cards allow a gambling block but their cooling off period vary, some you can turn on, but turn off giving 48 hours notice. With Monzo you can set the cooling off period to a year.

    A credit card can't be used for gambling transactions in UK. 
    Not sure about unregulated offshore bookies.

    Barclays has a 72hour cooling off period if gambling transactions are turned on again. Monzo might be a good option given the long delay.

    OK, so nothing to stop them drawing money out and nipping in the bookies, or the casino, or the dog track....

    If this is a gambling addict and they still have a problem, they will still find a way to gamble.
