Not sure there'd be anything as configurable as that but scratching the CVV code off the back of the debit card might do the job as a crude workaround, given that this would effectively prevent most online use (assuming you don't get to see it first)?
Are you able and willing to share more about what you're ultimately trying to achieve?0 -
Why do you want to limit it, for security reasons or something else? Starling, Halifax and Natwest let you set a block for remote use in the app, I'd imagine that Lloyds do too as they are essentially just Halifax with a green label. Remote use is easy to turn on in the app again, I don't think there are any that would limit it permanently.

Basically i would like an account for someone who spends too much money online and would like to be limited to just transfer some money in and spend it just in shops0

Get an ATM card, draw cash from the machine, pay cash to the shop.0

Barclays allows online transactions (and other categories like petrol, gambling etc) to be disabled on a card by card basis in the app.0

Debit card for cardholder present only seems to be what you are looking for.
They certainly exist but not all banks issue them, probably because so few customers ask for them.
Just ask the banks you are considering whether they will provide debit card for cardholder present only.0 -
On what basis are you responsible for controlling this person's spending, e.g. do you have power of attorney, deputyship, etc, or would they have the right to get the bank to reset any restrictions placed on the account?alwo1210 said:Basically i would like an account for someone who spends too much money online and would like to be limited to just transfer some money in and spend it just in shops1 -

While it sounds like there are more possibilities mentioned above than I was aware of, there are certainly ways of preventing access to gambling sites specifically, as this isn't an uncommon scenario.alwo1210 said:I dont want to control any one, i am trying to help so they can have spending money but not gambling0
