Wait to negotiate new broadband deal?

My broadband provider is Sky and I pay £31.50 for Superfast connection. I am out of contract and have noticed this price is increasing to £34.50 in April. They are currently offering the same package to new customers for £26.
As many of the companies are increasing their prices in April would it be best to wait until then to try and negotiate a deal?

I suspect Sky will add the £3 increase to the price for new customers too. And it may not be available to existing customers. But worth a try. Better offers may be forthcoming in a few months time if competition hots up.

I'm in a similar situation with Now Broadband. I'm currently paying £27 for Super Fibre (increased from £24 last April) and this will  go up to £35 next month and the full price of over £40 shortly after that when the contract period ends. I was told they would drop it to £24 if I ring them up before March 2 but I'm worried if I sign up for a new contract (probably 24mths this time) it'll  go up again a few weeks later on April 1.
