so sky have changed the wording of what it is their actually doing to confuse people has anyone noticed that ? @martinlewis can you possibly help I contacted sky as I got my tv package and broadband at same time so I should be able to cancel both I moved home in oct so both contracts are fairly new I've recieved multiple emails as I've managed to cancel the broadband side at first without early termination but now their sending emails with different termination fees on I still want to cancel my tv subscription to I'm going to send pics below to show you why I believe I'm entitled to do so and why others should be able to as well. When I phoned sky they told me i had to pay the fee straight away my contract states they have to give me a reasonable amount of time to pay which the woman on the phone didn't. Sorry its a long winded post but I want to know where I stand I'm pretty sure i can cancel my tv subscription without paying the termination fee

For clarity, the actual question is posted in the middle of that endless column of pics:-

Sorry, I didn't read everything there, but what is the TV package you're on and what exactly do you think Sky have changed?

For the BB at least you certainly should be able to leave or renegotiate the deal with fees.

This states that if you have sky glass and you got both broadband and TV at same time you can leave without a fee but I called sky and they denied it.

You're quoting MSE, not Sky there.

If the package price depends on each part for any discounts (in other words if you lose one then it affects the price of the other part) then yes, you could leave ETC free. You'd have to check your own T&Cs for more information.
