..yes, we always leave the "output" vents fully closed on all our old heaters, it's only a thin metal flap, and never seemed to make that much difference to be honest....

That is charged over 7 hours which implies a rate of less than11p per kwh (77.2 divided by 7). The rate is actually 15p per kwh so maybe it costs me more than I thought.
If you divide 77.2 by 7 you just get the power that is being drawn by your heaters, just over 11 kW. That's assuming it takes the full 7 hours to charge them, probably they draw more power and charge faster. But kWh is what you pay for, check your bill!Reed2
