Nice to see this getting attention. Though the article doesn't mention the instances where some providers tell customers they are not allowed to open another ISA elsewhere either.

Agreed - this is the more unreasonable stance, given that it's perfectly legitimate for banks to choose to limit multiple accounts of their own, but they have no justification for trying to exert control beyond that, so I'd suggest that the article actually misses the point completely!masonic said:Though the article doesn't mention the instances where some providers tell customers they are not allowed to open another ISA elsewhere either.5
