Hi all
We are looking at putting wood flooring in the lounge and hall of our new house. we have seen some oak hand scraped flooring in B&Q at around £40 per sqm. Has anyone got any websites that might do it cheaper?
Many thanks

Have you considered laminate flooring?
Much easier to maintain and install & cheaper!0 -
Have a look at the IKEA web site.I used to be indecisive but now I am not sure.0

Thought about laminate but have to admit we prefer the wood. Its a present to us from OH dad but want to make sure we do it the money saving way and get value for money.Debt Free Since May 2015:beer:0

Good morning: The Ikea flooring is particleboard/fibreboard/veneer not solid wood...perhaps the OP could clarify requirements? http://www.ikea.com/gb/en/catalog/categories/range/10373/10749/

unfortunately I cannot find a link to the wood flooring we saw in B&Q but it was solid like this one http://www.diy.com/diy/jsp/bq/nav/nav.jsp?action=detail&fh_secondid=9311726&fh_start_index=6&fh_eds=%3f&fh_location=%2f%2fcatalog01%2fen_GB%2fcategories%3c%7b10076%7d%2fcategories%3c%7b10101%7d%2fcategories%3c%7b9111011%7d&fh_refview=lister&ts=1199301070534&isSearch=false.
Ideally we want something similar but in a more natural colour.
I hope this information helps.Debt Free Since May 2015:beer:0 -
