Options for northern cyprus, have to receive calls

Hello
I am currently with iD mobile and northern cyprus isn't included on the roaming. I need to be able to receive time sensitive phone calls whilst I am there.
My phone isn't compatible with e sim.
My question is if I buy a data add on is there a way for me to receive the calls only via data? The phonecalls are from a hospital so I can't ask them to call via skype, whatsapp etc.
I do have VoLTE switched on in the UK.

ID Mobiles website says they charge £2.40 a minute to receive a call in Northern Cyprus / Turkey. Alternatively you can buy a pass before you go at about £5 a day.
It's not possibly to receive calls using your data unless the calling party has WhatsApp or similar.0 -
It looks like that is for data though, not calls?PHK said:Alternatively you can buy a pass before you go at about £5 a day.0 -
You might need to pop a PAYG SIM into a spare phone and use another network... A bit of a faff, but Northern Cyprus is not one of the cheaper mobile network destinations.Vodafone for example, include it on PAYG at 36p a minute to receive calls, or buy a bundle for £17/£27 (8/15 days roaming).Lebara are a bit cheaper at £5/£10 for 8/15 days.

Well this might be a bit too much but I have a "landline" number provided by Voipfone for my business. All incoming calls ring in my home via a box of electronics connected to my router AND on my mobile via their app.0
