A friend came to visit recently and decided to be helpful and buy a sim card for them. I clicked the wrong button and bought a 1 year £5 plan instead of the montly plan  . This was about 3 weeks ago so I'm outside the 14 day cooldown period.

I have a monthly plan with Lebara so I was thinking to port out my number and then port back in to the £5/mth plan, but I'm not sure to what provider is reliable and cheap to do the transfer.

Thank you!

Per the MSE "SIM only deals" page, Talk Home have a £3.15 1-month rolling plan. Is that cheap enough?

Do Lebara - and other networks - have any restrictions on how soon you can switch back in after you have switched out?

Thank you folks! I think what I'll do is to transfer the number to a PAYG sim from Three (or any othe 'reputable' provider), put £5 in it and use the lebara contract for data and calls.

I might transfer it back to Lebara after a few months or wait until the 12 month contract expires and then figure out where to transfer.

Put £5 on Three? their min top-up is £10.

Asda Mobile is £5, as is Talk Home, maybe others.
