Parking fine from UKCPM

Hi everyone

Newbie here, I have read the newbie thread thoroughly but I could really do with some specific advice if anyone is willing to give it.

I received a fine from a CMP car park for exceeding the time of 3 hours. They have pictures of my car with timestamps above the images. I know these timestamps are wrong as I was at my home in an informal meeting with my landlords (I'm a live-in tenant) at the time of timestamp on the final image. My landlords can vouch for me if needed but I can imagine the company will claim it's not solid evidence.

Anyway I did appeal but the company rejected it. I've now received my first debt collectors letter. I would actually just pay this fine if they could provide me an unedited video feed of my car for 3+ hours, I won't pay it because I believe they've fabricated the timestamps, or at least they're unintentionally inaccurate.

Do I have a leg to stand on here? Am I within my right to request the video feed? and if there isn't one, where do I go from there? I can't even find a contact email address for CMP to request the video.

Yes I have tried talking to the business within the retail park I was attending, it's a puregym and they have been incredibly unhelpful

Any help will be incredibly appreciated

Why would you pay something you don't need to.
    It isn't a fine.

Never heard of CMP, who are they exactly   ?

Ignore the powerless debt collectors letters,  post 4 in the newbies sticky thread in announcements

There wont be any video that you are allowed to access

The claimant is under no obligation to give you anything

Purgym are likely to be a tenant,  whereas plan A is always to complain to the actual landowner

@Gr1pr it's the UK car park management company, I've done some research on them and apparently they are notorious for questionable practise.

Thank you for the information, puregym told me who the landowners are but they claimed they also wouldn't help, but it's worth a shot

Why does that matter? There's no risk and a court claim is EXACTLY what you want.

We do court defences here every day!  Your thread is unusual that it's not about a court claim.  That's the stage when you win. Dead easy too.  No CCJ, no risk.

And you DON'T have a 'fine'.

Sounds like you need to read the 4th post of the NEWBIES thread and look at the pretty pictures of the £170 threatograms that everyone laughs at and ignores.

I even beg there in that post, for no more threads about debt demands.  No link to the NEWBIES thread is needed (see my signature).

So its not CMP , it's actually UK CPM , an IPC AOS member , very well known on here, as are pcns incurred at gyms all over the country

Follow the advice by coupon mad above

Meanwhile,  the only possibilities of a cancellation at the moment  ( before any future court claim   ) is still plan A

@Coupon-mad I really have read the whole newbies thread, but the idea of going to court is daunting for most people and I simply posted this to see if there is any way I can avoid that. It's not something I have experience with so relying on this thread to help me write a defence is also daunting.
The tagline I keep seeing is 'don't pay it, but don't ignore it'. But also what I'm hearing is that I should ignore it until I'm called to court? It is reassuring that you're telling me I will win though, so I appreciate that. If all I get from this post is reassurance then I'll take that, money is a struggle for me at the moment

    Reassurance is the main aim.

You won't even need to write a defence because it's 98% already written AND not all UKCPM cases even go to a court claim.

I know of two relatives who are happily ignoring debt demands from UKCPM right now.  One even got a LBC and then no claim form.
