Regarding previous discussion on Bond of Caution, there are some options:

    1. If the prior rights exhaust the estate, then a bond of caution is not required - and there are extra words that would be added into para 2 in such a case (and have right by virtue of section 8 and 9(2) of the Succession (Scotland) Act 1964 to the whole estate of the said deceased.
    2. It has been suggested that some courts have a relaxed or inconsistent approach to the requirement for a bond of caution.
    3. The court might require a bond of caution

I have made some comment on your C1 below:

There is moveable estate in Scotland, but the relevant total for confirmation shows zero

I think the examples here https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/6343501/c1-scotland-inventory show a better model for the inventory numbering

I would enter zeros in boxes 13 and 14, if accurate.

Box 22 should be ticked no, unless there is a previously deceased spouse.

We got the confirmation the week after the application. No changes needed and the Sheriff court were outstandingly helpful.

Hopefully the above can help others.  Thanks again to @buddy9 for the steer.
