Regarding previous discussion on Bond of Caution, there are some options:
- If the prior rights exhaust the estate, then a bond of caution is not required - and there are extra words that would be added into para 2 in such a case (and have right by virtue of section 8 and 9(2) of the Succession (Scotland) Act 1964 to the whole estate of the said deceased.
- It has been suggested that some courts have a relaxed or inconsistent approach to the requirement for a bond of caution.
- The court might require a bond of caution
I have made some comment on your C1 below:
There is moveable estate in Scotland, but the relevant total for confirmation shows zero
I think the examples here https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/6343501/c1-scotland-inventory show a better model for the inventory numbering
I would enter zeros in boxes 13 and 14, if accurate.
Box 22 should be ticked no, unless there is a previously deceased spouse.
