Trading 212 bonus via link

Hi, I have just opened (28th Jan 2025) a new cash ISA with Trading 212 via your link using the APP expecting to see an interest rate of 5.12% however I only have 4.9% showing in my APP with them.
When looking on your website and clicking the same link to open account it shows that I would have gotten the 5.12%, I have tried contacting T212 but the Bot just says bonus rate cannot be added once account is opened.
Is there anyway around this, perhaps if I closed the account and re-opened it, or would they still say I am not a new customer.

If you close and re-open you won't be classed as a new customer, and worse, you will not be able to apply the promotion to your second account. Keep your initial ISA open and apply the promo code as mentioned above.
