BT refusing to give itemised broadband final bill

I left BT Broadband in November because the speed was awful and they refused to compensate me for it. This invoked a penalty for leaving early. Signed up with Sky Broadband who said they would make a contribution of £100 to the £166 early leaver charge. BT's final bill was not itemised and despite three phone calls they would not provide a bill that showed the final charge.
Then they closed my online account so I could not access any past bills.
I finally got BT to send me an email confirming that the final bill of £166 was for early settlement charge.
Sky will not accept that email and therefore will not pay me the switching compensation.
What do I do, opinions please?

I think you've overcomplicated this.If your speed was below your guaranteed figure you could potentially have left penalty free:https://www.ofcom.org.uk/phones-and-broadband/coverage-and-speeds/broadband-speeds-code-practice/ - "If you think your broadband is slower than it should be, contact your provider to diagnose the problem. If the problem lies within their network, and they can’t fix it within 30 days, they must offer you the right to exit your contract without being penalised. This right to exit also applies to ‘bundled’ products."You're not entitled to compensation for speed reasons, compensation is only available as documented here:
