Charge on Land registry by Barclays on house we are selling

good it should be quick as per this:
For an electronic discharge, the HM Land Registry computer system makes a number of checks and, if everything is in order, cancels the charge entries automatically and, in most cases, immediately on receipt of the discharge. An electronic discharge is different to an e-DS1 .

Hi Lucybod,
I was pleased to come across this as I find myself in exactly the same position!
Mortgage with Woolwich paid off in 2007.
Had to change deeds title as partner has died and find that the new Register of Title has entry from 6/4/2018 that Barclays PLC has a charge on the house.
There must be a lot of us out there….
Lucy, do you know exactly which department dealt with your ‘complaint’ It would help me to perhaps resolve this quickly - although thankfully I’m not selling just yet.
