Without you saying how much State Pension you get, how much your wife will get and what savings you have no-one here is going to be able to tell you.

There is a calculator on the gov.uk website here

You won't qualify for pension credit.
The comments I post are my personal opinion. While I try to check everything is correct before posting, I can and do make mistakes, so always try to check official information sources before relying on my posts.

Pension Credit tops up a couple's income to £332.95 per week so you will be way above that when your wife retires.
    However:
If your income is higher, you might still be eligible for Pension Credit if you have a disability, you care for someone, you have savings or you have housing costs.

That'll  be too much income to qualify for pension credit.
Pension credit is designed to top up a couples income to £332.95 a week, and you will be well over that just in State Pension, even without considering your private pension on top.

    There isn't any disability register.
A blue badge won't qualify you.
You could look at applying for Attendance Allowance, if successful this raises your income threshold for PC, but you might still be over the limit financially even with AA.

Not in all cases, depends on your circumstances whether you qualify for the severe disability premium.

You are currently a mixed age couple and so cannot apply for PC, you would have to apply for Universal Credit, unless you are already claiming pension age Housing Benefit with the same partner since before 15th May 2019.

I thought of this too but then remembered it can otherwise bring the carer premium into play for their partner, which still raises the threshold.

Either way AA would mean more money (by itself even if nothing else), so definitely worth applying if eligible.
