Empathy Funeral Plan

Hi I've just been informed that I will get 4% of my money paid into the plan back. So £1780 gets me £71!!! I am livid. OHaras refuse to answer the phone, emails by OHaras have basically said there's nothing to be done.
Where's the money gone? Why didn't Empathy inform me they ceased trading? Surely this is criminal? I'm going to OHaras personally next week and intend to bring the pressure on board. Not happy!!! Our daughter died and we're raising two grandchildren on pensions so can I'll afford this loss!!

Not sure rocking up at the door and expecting to speak to someone higher up (or indeed anyone at all) is going to be particularly effective.
have you looked at the accounts?

Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.0 -
I don't what sort of "pressure" you expect to bring. You are not a preferential creditor, so cannot be given any more than the rest of the non-preferential creditors. If you are querying your Council Tax band would you please state whether you are in England, Scotland or Wales0

I'm not even sure O'Haras are still the administrator are they? Either way, whoever it is, they are only the company that have been brought in to admin the closure of the company after the fact, so you're wasting your time being upset with them, it's their job to find the money for us, but in this case I sadly don't think it was there to be found - the people behind the company themselves (Empathy) made sure of that. I shudder to think how much they've got away with and pray this isn't the end for them. There is fraud involved here and it must easily run well into the £millions.Georgiedog11 said:Hi I've just been informed that I will get 4% of my money paid into the plan back.
