Expanding solar generation

Thanks - I’ll have to do the maths. Current import (on Agile) for the past month (with under a week with the new panels) is averaging 2.2kWh/day at under 10p/kWh. It’ll be interesting to see how the new system performs now the sunny weather has disappeared!0

I switched from Flux to Go when I was first notified of the change in price. I have my batteries set to charge between 3-5am+my immersion heater too and then export most of the day at 15p/kWh. I had to email octopus to do this change as you need to switch your outgoing to fixed as well as the import to Go. They don't ask whether you have an EV or charger (I don't have either). Worth it in my opinion. I have no current plan to get an EV, and I see many others are in the same position and using Go.greenbee said:Thanks - I’ll have to do the maths. The details for Go now say you need and EV/charge or an order number, so I'm not sure how that would work. I'm going to see how I get on with Agile for now and might look at other options when I have more time to do the maths.0

Eon Next Drive definitely don't have such limitations and specifically state the tariff is also for solar/battery users, plus they offer a longer cheap rate overnight period and a higher SEG export rate than Octopus Go. This looks like the best 'EV' type tariff on the market at the moment.
