Nike Air max advice

I bougth a pair of all black Nike Air max 95 trainers from Sports Direct and they popped after four months and started quacking.
I know that Nike provides 2 year warranty on their trainers. I approached Sports Direct and they made me run around in circles and acted incompetent. I contacted Nike directly and sent my trainers and they refunded me in Nike.com credit.
I next proceeded to order the trainers from Nike themselves but they did not have my size in stock. I used the Design your own section and ordered a pair in my size. The sole could be only be customized in off noir and black was not an option. So, the trainers have come and the sole looks hideous and very bluish!
Now, I can return the trainers for another refund from Nike but my size is still not available and Nike cannot advise me when they will come back in stock!
JD sports has this pair in my size but obviously I cannot use my Nike.com credit to order from them.
I am not sure what to do now.

Not a lot from the sounds of it. Instead of pursuing Sporrs Direct, you chose to rely on the warranty through Nike who offered credit, which you accepted.Either wait for them to come in stock online at Nike.com or spend your own money at JD.3

Probably best to simply keep the trainers - once they have been worn on a run the sole will be dirt brown and dog mess just like any other trainers.
In terms of consumer rights, the back-story is irrelevant - this is simply a pair of trainers purchased from Nike online. The rights are to return for a full refund for any reason or none within 14 days. The refund will be in the format that payment was made (i.e. Nike credit).
Assuming that the "design your own" section of "customisation" does not make the trainers "bespoke". I suspect the website is a series of drop-down menus and that, as I understand it, would not mean "bespoke".1 -

The sole colour will be critical... (Although I don't know what "popped" and "quacking" means)
I think the OP knows that Nike.com will allow return and replace (despite being "design your own")* so he just needs to decide whether to keep them or wait for them to come into stock again
*IME Nike have a very liberal returns policy. My local Nike factory store has loads of online returns1 -

If I recall correctly, the USP of this model of trainer was the black sole so the sole colour will be critical if looking cool is the important thing. I am somewhat surprised, though, that for looking cool, anyone would select these particular trainers in anything other than black sole in the first instance.
The OP's best solution is to return for refund and await the black sole version to be available on the Nike website.
"Popped" refers to when the air pocket in the sole bursts and this results in a sucking sound and the materials can rub against each other as they move outwith intended movement pattern so squeak (this breathing and squeaking noise is called "quacking") with every step as air is sucked in / pushed out of the failed air pocket. The real issue with when an air pocket fails is that the cushioning and rebound energy is negatively impacted so running pace deteriorates. You can't really hear the sound if running, unless on a treadmill, though the "quacking" will not aid the whole cool image.

Makes for an interesting authenticity validation check - if it pops like an Air Max and quacks like an Air Max, it is one....?0

My particular one had water go in from stepping over puddles and green algae/mould had started to grow inside the air bubbles!

I just wear these trainers for light walking or at work on dress down Fridays. They are NOT to be used for running even though Nike advertise them as running trainers. If you walk a lot with them, the heat and lack of air circulation inside causes painful blisters!I need trainers really badly and am not sure when Nike will restock! I am on the verge of ordering from JD sports. But, then I will be held hostage with my Nike.com credit and have to use it in the future.0
