The length of award, that makes sense and can certainly be challenged.

You are saying you should score for planning and following a journey - at minimum that would be 4.  Add that to the 10 you reckon you should score for Moving around and you'd score a total of 14 for the mobility element.  Which still entitles you to the enhanced award anyway, so no fraud there.

It's ultimately up to you what you do but if you did want to do an MR for the length without touching the descriptors scored, the way to do that with telling the truth and not saying you agree with the descriptors would be to say you agree with the level of award (which refers to enhanced Daily Living and Mobility elements) and then detail why you think it should be longer.

You could open up a whole can of worms if you say it needs to be longer but your walking ability has increased - because if it's increased then they can use that as a reason to keep it a short award reasoning that they need to review you again fairly soon in case it's got even better by then.
Conscience and telling the truth wise, if it does get better but you'd still be entitled to enhanced because of the planning and following journeys, you wouldn't need to let them know until/unless it got so much better that combined with planning and following journeys you no longer qualified for enhanced mobility.

And in terms of future awards, if you need to do an MR to get the appropriate level, you can always mention that you didn't pursue getting the right scoring for planning and following journeys previously because it would have made no material difference to your award.  That's the key phrase - material difference, i.e. affecting the level awarded.
Thank you for your detailed response, it’s really helpful.

I will do an MR for the length of the award, using your help and Mutley’s thread which they kindly directed me to.

The prospect of going through the reassessment again perhaps in 18-months is both devastating and debilitating, the fact that evidence from 15 years ago only serves to show my condition and walking has got worse, as has my daily living needs, I scored 18 points this time compared to 11 in 2021, and 0 in 2017 at a tribunal, that was the DLA to PIP era, and the assessment was flawed as was the tribunal but I didn’t challenge it, instead the whole experience led to me harming myself quite badly, surviving and being encouraged to reapply for PIP, and 8 months later it was awarded at the Standard Rates for both DL and Mobility.

I think there will come a time when I don’t complete the forms as it’s too stressful, but I suspect a lot of people on PIP feel the same.

Thanks again to everyone who replied, I shall keep you updated.
