A long time has passed, I have just got my mediation appointment through for this matter. Is it too late to send the SARs to get the PCN's. I read on another post that I should rewrite my defence to be more specific. Again am I too late to do this?
The basis of the defence was that the PoC was insufficient Chan and Akande. Is this defence still relevant? 

Current plan is to say effectively what KeithP has kindly mentioned. The PoC gives no detail of what specific breach of the T and Cs is supposed to have happened and it should be thrown out because of that.

edit: I have reread again the newbie thread and some other posts about the call. My wife is taking so wanted to prepare her the best I could. Will just offer nothing and see where it goes thank you. Apologies

No worries. No SAR - do not engage. And Mediation is nothing at all!  

I hope she won't feel forced into making an offer.  You WANT the case to proceed to a hearing.

That's your free dispute resolution before a judge. Not a mediator, whose entire job is to persuade defendants to cave in.

Thank you for bringing my attention to the consultation and the pointers. Got it done, Fighting 4 tickets at present so hopefully doing it means this stops! 

My wife got offered £85 at mediation. She didn’t take it. Though this ticket is the one we are most nervous about defending as it was allegedly parking in a disabled bay. Though hopefully Akande and Chan and the shortness of the PoC will help. 

I have reread the FAQ my wife binned all the letters prior to me realising. Is it worth doing a SAR to get all the info they have. Or should I wait for them to pay the court fee and target my defence from there. 

How long after mediation should I expect a court hearing letter? I have read that they sometimes don’t pay the court fee. When can I expect to check with the court.

Yes but you've done your defence, so you'd be targetting your witness statement from there.

no SAR, better to fight it without

the defence is already in and logged, you dont get a second go unless the judge orders it

expect to hear from the local court this side of xmas, by letter, with deadlines on it ( a court order )

any possible court hearing date and the deadline for them to pay the hearing fee could be next spring , which is when the WS + Exhibits will be due

this is no quick process , so plenty of time to study other cases etc on here
