Hi, just had a letter from the cowboys after filing a defence online. I used the forum to produce this and their response basically says
* It’s a template defence
* They can’t propose a resolution as they claim I have not provided reasons for dispute. I thought the defence was clear in that no contract as signage is limited etc
* They Will substantively respond to my defence via a clients witness statement

They then ask for payment, provide the directions questionnaire and state they will recommend their clients pursues in court.
Now I’m pretty sure I just wait this period out and after approx 28 days I’ll be contacted by court on the next steps, is that right? Is there anything more I could be doing now?

Just file your n180 with the court2

As above, you just completed step 7 of 12 , so it's step 8 next, might be a month, could be longer, but currently you are dealing with the CNBC in Northampton, not a court, so wait patiently for their postal N180, nobody elses, ignore the bear baiting from Moorside Legal3

There's no need to wait. He may as well send it now as there's a few week backlogGr1pr said:As above, you just completed step 7 of 12 , so it's step 8 next, might be a month, could be longer, but currently you are dealing with the CNBC in Northampton, not a court, so wait patiently for their postal N180, nobody elses, ignore the bear baiting from Moorside Legal2 -
As usual they claim a template defence to their template claim is somehow invalid.
The judge won't care (if it gets that far).Always remember to abide by Space Corps Directive 39436175880932/B:
'All nations attending the conference are only allocated one parking space.'

You could join the motorists call in demanding the re-launch of Govt-backed Parking Code of Practice.Is there anything more I could be doing now?A simple signature, share if you can. 🙏
Some MPs are calling for statutory regulation for this industry. One recently told Parliament "Rip-off 'fines' need to go"

Hello again bartos1976!
Assuming I can download one from somewhere to serve on the court and Moorside instead of waiting for CNBC to send one? Anything to be gained from this other than the peace of having completed it? I suppose I could also be starting to compile my witness statement?ChirpyChicken said:

I do like the way these clowns like to complain about the use of the internet, as if they simply rely on a library of dusty old text books and their office is computerless
