Hiya I received this from a friend today and it looked like junk so I emailed her to let her know. Terrible that companies do this kind of thing.

Thanks, the bit that really gets me is that it has sent it to all my addresses including work ones of course. I suppose there is nothing that we can do about it is there?

Don't think it's happened to me. I've had failed delivery messages from email comps, but don't think I've had this.

I'll know tormorrow when I go in to work, if I've sent myself one!

    Hi All,

As it has been sent to all your addresses on your address book (assumedly you use Outlook) wouldn't it be some sort or virus/spyware then as no matter who you would send an email to normally, how would they know who else was in your address book?

    Thanks

I've not had that one yet, but I do keep getting an email from Thomas Cole Solutions  , even though I keep marking it as spam, and haven't opened them. Not sure what else to do as im too scared to reply to their opt out link

Thanks Steve I understand what you are saying but I am heavily (or thought I was) protected and it has not affected any other email accounts. Use Firefox as it [STRIKE]is [/STRIKE]was safe. Will do a virus scan just to be sure though.

I've just entered a couple of comps with Gloucester online - and they appear to be something to do with that. Will let you know if I get loads of spam in the next couple of days.:D
