Incorrect credit file entry vs O2 vs Mortgage

@Largs Thank you and yes, I have raised a dispute with that CRA and have also been in contact with O2.
@martinbainbridge1975 That does sound promising. I had received an email from O2’s Credit File Referalls department on Saturday. They asked for some additional information and said I’d receive a response within 48hrs. Nothing has come through yet and I will try following up with them tomorrow.
@penners324 Oh absolutely. Their CS via the app and phone has been an absolute pile of sh*t and claiming they don’t know or have any information relating to another account or debt. I don’t know how many times I told them “Well, it has been reported for over 5yrs and even as late as a couple of weeks ago.
@Nasqueron Thank you. Hoping if O2 do not own up, admit the mistake and rectify it promptly that the CRA will sort it out with them directly.0 -
I am having the same issue with 02. A balance of 66 pound which was settled and should be recorded as such and show zero. They continue to report on it, however the account was settled nearly 5 years ago. I appreciate it will remain on CRAs, but Experia have recorded it correctly. I think it's dreadful that information is not correct and is impacting.
O2 tell me they don't recognise the number, the name, the address so I've said how can you still report on it if you don't have any records for it!0 -

People are rich because they spend less money. A poor man buys $10 boots that last a season or two before he's walking in wet shoes and has to buy another pair. A rich man buys $50 boots that are made better and give him 10 years of dry feet. The poor man has spent $100 over those 10 years and still has wet feet.
