US East Coast Flights

Flights to Baltimore and Washington are currently coming out at £800 each for a 2 week trip in late October. Is it worth hanging on a bot longer to book in the expectation they may ease off later in the year?

We travel regularly to eastern USA and this last year flight costs have increased substantially 

trying now to mitigate this with loyalty points etc but have paid £1000 on average for economy with 1x checked bag

Where are you looking? A quick browse on BA shows that for two weeks towards the end of October, the most expensive flight is £674 return to Washington and the cheapest is £500.
