If you do decide to replace some or all of your trays another place that often has some very good value ones is Dunelm, their Essentials range is worth a look. I've also noticed that M&S have started stocking some baking trays recently and some of those are quite keenly priced as well.

I forgot to say that any non-stick coating will only last for a few years anyway and given that some coatings emit various nasty substances at a high heat you might prefer to replace them with steel, enamel or pyrex all of which are scrubbable.
Actually need to go to Dunelm (rare!) so I'll keep s look out, cheers

    I highly recommend these:

They are completely non stick, and go in the dishwasher. A bit more expensive but virtually indestructible
We have the same trays and they are great and easy to clean , the top non stick coating never wears BUT the bottom of the trays are not as good and ours show loads of wearing due to them being slid into and out of the oven.
Interesting, some of my trays are like that I think it also due to stacking trays that aren't the best - bit of a silly idea!

Forgot to say you can do your whole oven with that stuff ,open the oven door ,remove all the racks ,spray it quickly and shut the door asap ,leave an hour and clean with warm water and a cloth ,please wear gloves ,chuck the cloth away when finished.
Yeah, mine has arrived, have to say the directions and warnings are a bit scary! Feels like I need a breaking bad hazmat suit on! Also not sure how I can use it not on the seals but clean it off - I guess perhaps when it's diluted it's fine.

As for the trays, I've done the best I can, I think I'll slowly trash them in exchange for an upgrade or two!
Yes the safety instructions are scary but thats health and safety for you ,it is not as bad as you think ,i am 74 and it has not killed me yet :s:wink:

I suspect that is what has happened to ours.

Just popping my head round the door to say I noticed this review of baking trays on BBC Good Food and it has a section on how to clean non-stick trays at the bottom of the page.

Thanks, I'll take a look, very helpful.

Man, seems only yesterday I was spending my spare time researching what play station games to get and what raves to go to... Now stuff like baking trays, oven cleaner, silicone sealant and paint. Rock and roll lol!

Popping back to say I spotted this video from America's Test Kitchen which was put up this afternoon and interestingly says that if you don't clean off the baked on oil from your trays they cook faster (it's the second item after the coffee machine bit).
