Currys PC Stopped Working After 14 Moths

  • A gaming PC from Currys will likely have the lowest spec PSU that the manufacturer can get away with.
It's probably failed due to working at the limits of its capability.

I would take the opportunity to have it replaced with a higher spec'd replacement.
It's not hard to do at home, but if not confident, the local pc repair shop will replace for a modest fee.

For the cost involved and considering that the pc will have been upgraded, personally, I wouldn't waste my time engaging with Currys.
  • Thanks all. I've decided to get a local company to take a look at it and find out what's wrong, then take it from there.

I agree about the poor customer service BTW. And won't be buying anything else from Currys.

...never use this company again, terrible service
Sounds like they haven't changed much then
