Where's my money gone?

Any advice gratefully received.
I opened a cash ISA with Virgin money in mid-December to be funded, within the 30 day funding window, by a maturing cash ISA from Hodge Bank.
Money still hasn't arrived in my account.
Virgin say they've not received it from Hodge - though they have received the paperwork from them to say all done.
Virgin also say they've contacted Hodge last week to tell them no funds received.
Hodge say they've sent it but will "put a trace on it" but it may take up to 2 weeks to sort.
Is there anything I can do or should be doing to get this sorted?

    There is nothing that can be done to get it sorted, but you may wish to get a complaint in so that if it drags on you give yourself escalation options a little sooner. You'll obviously need to be compensated for any loss of interest, preferably through backdating when the funds turn up.
    I'd guess Hodge sent the money to the wrong Virgin entity. It is not uncommon for mix-ups like this involving Virgin to occur, although it's been a while since the last thread on it.
