Stocks and Shares ISA - which to choose?

Hello,
I'm about to open an S&S ISA and am choosing beteen AJ Bell and Vanguard, purely based on having heard of these two. I know that one is a platform and one isn't, and one is more expensive than the other in terms of buying funds.
Does anyone have any thoughts on either of these?
I know there may not be a 'right answer' but good to hear of your experiences with ether company.

I plan to put £4000 in a LISA, and £16000 between a S&S ISA and Cash ISA, (split TBC).
New to investment ISA's so any thoughts appreciated.
thank you

They are both investment platforms that offer S&S ISA's.
The main difference is with the Vanguard platform, you can only buy Vanguard investments.
AJ Bell offers a much wider range ( including Vanguard funds)
Vanguard charges 0.15%, but with a minimum of £48 pa . Buying/Selling/Switching investments is free.
Aj Bell charge 0.25% with a range of charges for buying and selling. No minimum charge and there is a cap if you only hold certain types of investments.
Vanguard do not offer a LISA.1 -
AJ Bell fees are reasonable and they offer a lot in terms of service. I'd certainly recommend them. On the AJ Bell platform you are able to purchase Vanguard ETFs inside a S&S LISA or S&S ISA if that's what you want to do.0

One is a platform the other a provider. Would you prefer an apple or a banana ?1

However, one is whole of market and the other one is restricted. AJ Bell actually offers more Vanguard funds than Vanguard.Does anyone have any thoughts on either of these? If you are not going to use Vanguard funds you would rule out the Vanguard platform.

Ive recently opened a S&S ISA with Invest Engine, Ive opened a fully managed account as I didnt know what Id invest in so for a small annual fee let Invest Engine deal with the funds. They gave a small sign up bonus and would share the same link if of interest to you. I am pleased with the App and its visibility of the funds progress.0
