The case will proceed as normal through the court process. What you've shown us is normal and already in the first 12 steps in the Template Defence thread.

The DVLA complaint is separate and won't affect the court claim (except they might discontinue earlier than normal).

Expect an initial fob off from the DVLA.  Please then respond and insist on both concerns being investigated because they are both allegations of serious and systematic KADOE data breaches by DCB Legal.

You have admitted to being the driver in your Defence, therefore the Protection of Freedoms Act does not apply in my opinion and, sorry to say, I do not believe that the 'relevant land' issue has any merit in this context. I understand coupon-mad's motivation but think that a better battleground is needed.

This is irrelevant to the complaint.

I like this battleground choice. DVLA need to sniff around what DCB Legal are doing.

The complaint is completely separate from the defence and done for completely different reasons. Both complaint points are well worth pushing the DVLA to investigate and this case definitely lends itself to both concerns.

I agree that the POFA doesn't apply in the defence. I never said it did!

  • Iv completed my NC180 and returned via email. Maybe I misunderstood the email "we have attached a copy of the claimants" I was under the impression it should have been filled in? Im out of my depth massively with this just wondering
  • Would getting evidence from those that parked the same time as me, and had fines over turned, help me in any way?

Maybe. Some Judges would like that.

But I suspect this will be discontinued as usual and will never get near a Judge or hearing!

  • Hi all!

Update. I have recieved a letter from the county court today stating that as I didn't reply or send in the NC180, I am liable to pay £311.39.

I emailed the NC180 18th Jan! So now on hold to the court. This is ridiculous

Happens all the time, sadly. They always have to set aside the mistake.  Keep on at them and it should be sorted by next week.

    And just 24 hours left:

Have you done this Enquiry yet?!

Please please do, it is easy to submit answers online, took me minutes but I had pre-prepared a document of evidence to attach:

    https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/6481628/justice-committee-inquiry-into-the-county-court/p4

    PLEASE tell
the full story of this saga to the CJC this week.

You have evidence and a situation that reveals

    1. mistakes being made by the CNBC that cause CCJs in error, due to being overwhelmed by...

    2. ... a sustained & complete abuse of the court system by PPCs with third party 'bulk litigators' churning copy & paste generic and inflated/enhanced claims out (with no 'case merit' or properly pleaded POC) and adding fake damages/costs.

You can only attach a Word document to submit evidence but you can put images on a Doc.

    Tell your story.

Ask why court time is being so much wasted on propping up 'scam' (almost always discontinued, struck out or lost by the Claimants) claims from PPCs?

Enquiry closes tomorrow - so this is urgent.

    This WILL make a difference.

I was on hold for a hour and a half and then the courts closed. Will call back Monday. According to the letter if I did send it back (which I did) I need to pay a fee to get this set aside?

No. It gets sorted out free, of course.

Read other threads where this happened. Like I said:

Ring on the dot of 8am.
