Ticketmaster denying responsibility for a claim

Wow, lots of replies and opinions. Too many to reply to individually, but what I will say is, having been fortunate enough to get into Metallica's 'Snake Pits' a couple of times (i.e. fenced off areas at the front of the stage), it is reasonable to my mind to assume a similar set-up was in operation for this gig, going by the seating chart alone. I appreciate the package information didn't make any specific reference to a fenced off separate area, however, it could reasonably be assumed that the early access entry was early access to the VIP GA area denoted in the plan. As such, there was no separate area, so why include it in the first place?
I am going to approach Live Nation outlining why I believe I am entitled to a partial refund. I don't expect to get anywhere with them, but I am fully prepared to take it to the small claims court if necessary.1 -

As for court, you'd have to weigh up the situation. As I see it, your loss is limited to the difference between the £220 you paid, and the £80 for the standard ticket, minus the value of the other benefits that came with the VIP package, which were all available to you. There were five benefits in your list, so crudely attributing 20% to each, your loss is £28. The court fee for that claim would be £35 which you'd get paid if you won.
