I am capable of complying without liking it. Perhaps it should be compulsory to like it and then there would be no argument.

Who's ever claimed to actually like providing their personal details to anyone? That would be a rather strange proclivity. We comply with that which is required whilst protecting ourselves as best as we are legally able. There are those who choose live to off the grid, but most of us make the necessary compromises so we can integrate with society, prioritising modern conveniences which we perceive to improve our quality of life.

No one as far as I know, but people seem to be getting triggered because I am complaining about it. There would be a lot less triggering if it was compulsory to like it.

What are your concerns, specifically, in this instance? Your occupation, sources/levels of income and expected account usage are probably the least valuable details to those wishing to use data harvested from breaches for nefarious purposes.

Security and privacy are often mutually antagonistic. Anonymity shields criminal activity from the law, as much as it provides law-abiding citizens the right to privacy from Orwellian panoptic surveillance. It's better to set realistic expectations instead of complaining generically about data breaches.

My first post was asking for advice, I couldn't have forseen all the triggering it would trigger.
