There isn't really a concept of 'closing a ticket' on here, discussion threads generally continue for as long as posters wish to contribute to them and remain in situ for others to read, which can often be useful to those in similar situations (and who search for existing threads rather than starting their own!).

@eskbanker. As I started the thread it was a way of saying thank you to everyone for helping out,
and that I did not need any more help on the subject,
It seemed a good way to conclude the thread!

    Hello Everyone,
I am thinking of putting 10K savings
    into Hodge Bank.
I was looking for positive or negative feedback views on this bank ?
    I saw @Timmy1 post on the 24 May 2024
    which was negative!
I don't want to have to start uploading documents to open a bank account
I just want to fill out the application form for the account and send a payment by means of
Fast Payment Service from my nominated bank account.
    TY
Just because Timmy1 have a negative review I wouldn’t let that out you off

Fair enough, but some have an expectation that they can actually prevent people from continuing to post, or even that they can have the thread deleted once they have their answer, and I wasn't sure if either of those was what you had in mind by 'closing the ticket'!

Perhaps someone mistook the MSE forum for JIRA...
