@nannytone_2 I’ve spoken to 2 people at the job centre and they had no clue and neither does my work coach on my journal or shut ne on the phone who work for the UC Dept so who on earth is going to give me this information ?
As others have said, those people you spoke to are not benefit advisors. What is disappointing is that Citizens Advice couldn't offer any clarity either although benefits are a specialist area and it may well be the person you spoke to does not have that training.

You ask who will give you the information, the best I can do is link to the legislation.
    https://www.legislation.gov.uk/uksi/2014/1230/part/4/crossheading/ending-of-transitional-protection

And the ADM guide, "When does transitional protection end M7530 - M7559" is on page 38
    https://assets.publishing.service.gov.uk/media/6720eebf4da1c0d41942a875/admm7.pdf

Your son turning 19 means they drop off your UC claim as they are an adult.  As you are aware, all elements you receive in relation to him will end, this will in turn reduce you maximum UC award by the same amount but the transitional element will remain as is.
The only way to lose the transitional element is either through a significant change such as a sustained drop in earnings for three consecutive assessment periods, changing from a single to joint or joint to single claim, or through erosion by annual increases in benefit amounts or qualifying for a new element that increases your maximum UC amount.

Given your circumstances, single parent who is not working (so no earnings) the only way you could lose your transitional element is if you started to live with someone as a couple (so changed from single to joint claim) or through erosion.

You will certainly not lose transitional protection simply because your son is coming off your claim.

On a separate point, when your son comes off your claim, he should consider making his own UC claim.

@KxMx I get my allowance, his allowance and his disability element and TP is £626 so to list £1300 a month in one go is really not good which is why I need to know if I will lose the Tp

@kaMelo thank you so much for that but where did you find that info as I clicked that link and I dont see that on those pages. I probably read it wrong..
Also what does 12 assessment periods mean on those pages? If it means TP is only awarded for 12 months then mine would end this August anyway as I migrated over to UC last August or have I read that wrong ? My head is spinning off my shoulders and I am no good with understanding things I read online sorry to ask you more questions xx

TP doesn't last only for 12 months. It lasts as kaMelo has advised.
I hope others have been able to reassure you that your TP won't end, just the elements given for your son as he changes from a dependent to non dependant.

Transitional Protection ending after 12 assessment periods applies to those migrating from Tax credits that have more than £16,000 in capital. For everyone else this rule doesn't apply.

Is this the carer element or disabled child element?

When he comes off the claim you will no longer get the child element or disabled child element.  You won't lose anything else.
