CPM FINE, NOT MY CAR! APPEALED AND LOST!

Hi there,
So received a fine from CPM for 21st Dec 24.  Photos show 2 cars, not mine! Date and place I was no where near and I was working. Appealed and lost, they say to pat or contact IAS. My parking ref number won't be recognised. Tried to contact CPM and its a nightmare as emails are do not reply, phone line gives nothing.
What do I do?
Is there another company other than the IAS (I have read some of the threads advising not to go that route re: kangaroo court etc etc).  I cannot afford and increased fine but I am Soooo Angry about this.

It isn't a "fine" it's an invoice from dimwits as you have found out, bullying you to pay up don't get stressed by it.
  • I wish they would do a 'no win no fee' thing for these companies!! The amount of stress and time wasting they cause people.  This, of course,  would not hold up as its not big bux enough of course.

Thanks for advice to ignore; I am not great with things unresolved or threats increasing fines that's all.

OK so send a formal complaint instead, telling them you will involve your MP and the DVLA as well as the Information Commissioner's office, if they pass your data to a debt crawler.

Get more angry! Call it a serious data breach.

And you could also just crack on and do the DVLA complaint right now.

Here are the email addresses to use:

    ccrt@dvla.gov.uk

    KADOEservice.support@dvla.gov.uk

    Send identical complaints to both.
