    Some courts are awful to get a response from and worse now they have a central contact centre.
    Can you tell me the worst ones to get hold of?

    I want to mention this in my reply to the CJC Call for Evidence about the work of the county court. Could do with mentioning this.

    Clerkenwell and Shoreditch took 4 weeks to reply to an email!

    The judge might not even have noticed. It'll just be a line on the list in the file I suspect - payment received on xx/01/25.

    Will probably end up as a preliminary matter that you'll have to raise at the beginning of the hearing. Worth saying you didn't even know whether to turn up since the court said they hadn't paid.

    It's a lottery. But most judges love "inconsequential" details like this.

    I don't think it's inconsequential because it was an Unless Order.  There's a meaning to that phrase.

    The OP needs to use the phrase that the claim was already struck out and the C made no application for relief from sanctions.  The claim REMAINS struck out, due to the Unless Order!
