I can't follow your maths so am unable to figure out how you worked out that you'd be out of pocket if accepting a 65% refund, which, being as close to two-thirds as makes no difference, should square you up almost completely if you have three items instead of one? Perhaps costs with and without postage are being mixed up, but it's unlikely that posting three would be three times the cost of sending one, so that shouldn't leave you significantly out of pocket either.AngWatson said:To accept 65% refund would equate to about £48 so still roughly £26 out of pocket.AngWatson said:Should have been charged for one item but was charged and sent three items.
Again, inconsistencies don't help here? Is your complaint with the ordering process or are you not even wanting to keep and use one of the items anymore, on the basis of one being faulty, and if so, have you reported the fault?AngWatson said:I wouldn't want to sell on the items as first one was hopeless and we didn't try other three.
I calculated 65% of £74.95 as £48.72. There was a £5.95 delivery charge added which took it to £80.90. By the time you factor in return postage to USA, there is not much lost if I am doing maths correctly. He has gone back and asked company to confirm what the 65% refund cost would be and will see what we decide to do.
My understanding is that they offered a 65% refund in response to the original complaint, i.e. that they'd supplied three when you thought you'd only ordered one, and that this entailed you keeping the items ("They also offered for us to keep items and they would give us back 65% of cost"), so the cost of returning items doesn't enter into that calculation at all, and a 65% refund for the ordering issue seems reasonable.
If, separately, you now want to report all three items as faulty (have you tested them all yet?), and hope to secure a full refund, including postage in both directions, I think that's optimistic, even though you may have been entitled to that if you'd bought from a UK supplier....0 -

There is no basket concept on that site. You select one of the big boxes which either sells you 1, 2 or 3+1. The site default selection is the middle box of 2, so I can see how people can get charged £59.95 for 2. To be charged £79.95 as it now is you have to select that option as the user.
On the same page fill in your personal and payment details, so no basket or checkout.
It does however give you the price on the box you have to click on to order.
Doesn't look like they are doing anything to try to trick people (maybe crap like countdown timers to get your discount), other than the product can never do what they claim without a pump. It can increase the pressure a bit, but not like they are claiming.0
