AngWatson said:Thanks for your comments. Order shows 3 items at a total cost of £74.09. Yet partner said he is sure he only clicked for one item. On looking at reviews other people say the same. Asked for one item ended up with three or more in their basket and charged for.
To send this item back to USA is £17.20. Have asked company to confirm how much refund will be as they say they take a handling charge of as well. They also offered for us to keep items and they would give us back 65% of cost.
Still wondering whether to challenge bank based on what other people have said re being charged for more than one item.1 -
Hi company is Jetnozzle and item shipped from USA although partner did not know company was USA based at that time as never thought to check who he was dealing with. Lesson learned maybe.
To accept 65% refund would equate to about £48 so still roughly £26 out of pocket. Factor in return postage costs of £17.50 and a possible handling fee, might be as well to accept 65%.
I wouldn't want to sell on the items as first one was hopeless and we didn't try other three. I hear what you are saying though.0 -

Would it be possible to sell the two that you don't want?0 -
First item did not work that great, didn't try other two as the plan was to return before we looked at costs etc. Would not want to sell them to anyone in case other were no good.0

I can't follow your maths so am unable to figure out how you worked out that you'd be out of pocket if accepting a 65% refund, which, being as close to two-thirds as makes no difference, should square you up almost completely if you have three items instead of one? Perhaps costs with and without postage are being mixed up, but it's unlikely that posting three would be three times the cost of sending one, so that shouldn't leave you significantly out of pocket either.AngWatson said:To accept 65% refund would equate to about £48 so still roughly £26 out of pocket.AngWatson said:Should have been charged for one item but was charged and sent three items.
Again, inconsistencies don't help here? Is your complaint with the ordering process or are you not even wanting to keep and use one of the items anymore, on the basis of one being faulty, and if so, have you reported the fault?AngWatson said:I wouldn't want to sell on the items as first one was hopeless and we didn't try other three.0 -
Another site with no address or contact details (other than a email) etc.
co.uk only registered 24-08-24 for 1 year.
I can see how people are getting 3 items. They are clicking on the 3 item box.
If they are saying £17.50 to send back, where are they going? Given FREE delivery shipping?
T/C etc are just a total joke.
@AngWatson
Can you confirm return address.
I'm going to stick my neck out & say China.
Amazon list these @ 50% of that sites price, & it is a Chinese co.

Hi there was a slip of paper in package that said item has to be returned to Idaho. It's Royal Mail that is costing £17.20 to send back tracked to USA. This is what happens when you don't research the site your buying from. He has been warned not to buy any more crap.

I calculated 65% of £74.95 as £48.72. There was a £5.95 delivery charge added which took it to £80.90. By the time you factor in return postage to USA, there is not much lost if I am doing maths correctly. He has gone back and asked company to confirm what the 65% refund cost would be and will see what we decide to do.0
