Yeah, I know what you mean about the walking apps. I’d not heard of this one before so I thought I’d give it a go but I have zero plans to spend anything with them and have already cancelled the free trial subscription to avoid forgetting at the end of the week.

The sad thing is work used to have a great walking app. It didn’t give out cash but the points could be redeemed for coffee or lunch on site and it was really useful as I was rarely on site so it pretty much gave me free coffee every time I was there. They canned it a few months ago and I’ve yet to find a decent alternative. 😕

I am still not convinced anyone can make reasonable money from Vinted. Today I had someone offer £1.80 for a brand new, with tags top that was £25-£30 when purchased. £1.80! Are they having a laugh? I know it’s £1.80 I haven’t current got but I’ve just sold a used T-shirt from Primark (worth about £2.50 new), for £1.50. I mean, I’ll probably start buying any new clothes I buy from Vinted (when I next have any money to buy anything), but seriously, as a seller I find it impossible to actually make any money. 🤷‍♀️

They've turned really cheeky on Vinted, I have a bundle of baby clothes on, about 6-7 different outfits, I got offered £1.80 too 🥺 so disheartening

That’s rubbish. I’ve only recently started using it but have done really well so far- averaging £20 per item sold. It’s been a real help over the past month.

I tried an active travel app recently- points for walking, cycling and bus use- but often it wouldn’t track my activity at all, so I’ve deleted it entirely. If there was a decent one I’d be interested in knowing about it.
  • Hi EB , hope you are feeling better , good luck on the upcoming interview . Same here with vinted , had a suit on for 14 pounds , tags on jacket and trousers totalled 47 pounds , I got offered 8 pounds ! Obviously refused but it does annoy me .

That sounds dire - I hope it works out better now you've involved the senior person.
