Wooden Pallet project

Hi all,
Am trying to find/source wooden pallets as the final stage for a project I have been working on for a number of years and struggling to find any! I have called around a few local businesses but so far had no luck.
Am trying to reduce the final stage costs and was going to clad the walls just for cosmetic/clean looks and pallet cladding was suggested.
I have already thought of things like plaster boarding, rendering, PVC/Ply cladding etc and gone through all the positives and negatives but overall, am just running out of money, it has been a very big learning curve on how much it costs getting a ram shack of a building back into proper use
I am in the Liverpool L21 area if that helps and would be grateful for any suggestions or help in getting the final stage pushed over the finish line! only taken me 4 years to get here but it's exciting to finally see a workshop I can use with the kids for numerous different future projects

You know anyone that does independent refuse collection? Happen to be a few around us and ones a regular at our local, I know he's always willing to give people the pallets he collects rather than have to pay to dump them. We're down in London so he's not practical for you but I'm sure the ones near you would be similar... maybe not for free but for a token payment.0

Treasure the moments that you have. Savour them for as long as you can for they will never come back again.0 -
I find most merchants are happy to sell pallets for around £150

Have you tried Freecycle? I have got rid of pallets on there and have seen wanted posts for them too. Worth a look??
Good luck - sounds a lovely project you've been working on.

Have a look in Freecycle or your Facebook local groups. I have been able to collect one from each and have seen "Offer" posts quite often.1

My village facebook group occasionally has people offering free pallets which tend to get snapped up by enthusiastic DIYers.

We cut pallets up and use the timber for kindling.....I've never had a problem getting them for free but I'm in Essex not LIverpool where the situation sounds somewhat different. Most large item deliveries arrive on pallets these days so it's probably just a case of keeping your eyes open in your local neighbourhood.0

Im L8 and the local shops accumulate lots of them. You can take them from the shops prior to the scrap man collecting them they don't mind.My neighbour built decking out of pallets. I thought he was mad but its still there so it worked.0

but hearing £15 per one, means they was offering me a very low price.
I might end up having to put the project on the back burner, partially regretting starting it lol! was supposed to be a simple conversation of a botched garage/shed combination but everything went pear shaped from the start.
Original wall was leaning, had to have it rebuilt, no foundation so had to get that put in, new roof which blew my mind cost wise even doing it myself and then getting window/doors fitted. I laugh at myself cause I thought it wouldn't cost too much
Honestly didn't realise pallet wood was in such demand, or even that there was a big industry surrounding pallets.
Sadly I no longer have access to vans/trailers which probably limits my options even more1
