To put that in context, Grenfell was started by a faulty fridge freezer.

I've just installed the Bright App on my phone and registered with it. It's asking for the GUID of my IHD, I presume it's safe to do this?... the App seems to be recommended in a lot of Forum threads so I presume it's a reputable company and safe to use :)
    yes it is.

Thanks... I've entered my GUID and it seems to have accessed the information on my IHD as I can see thecurrent weekly and monthly usage along with current Unit Rate and standing Charge.

Any suggestions or tips on how best to configure the Bright App for TE with the different time period Unit Rates?

    Thanks

From the Home page on the App :
Click the button that says VIEW / AMEND TARIFF
Click the + sign at the top right of the next screen
Add your Standing Charge and the default highest price TE unit cost on the 1st screen.
Click on the +NEW TIME SLOT option
Add in the other unit cost TOU info as needed

There’s an option where you can insert your own tariff. I put the appropriate Lifestyle rates in the appropriate 30min slots and the standing charge. MyWatts when it’s set up will also show past and present usuage and cost without VAT.

Can someone please help me understand the figures on the main Bright app screen.

Under 'Electricity' it says...             Latest Daily Usage   12.99kWh   -- (1)
Under 'Electricity Summary' it says...          Daily usage    7.21kWh   -- (2)

On my IHD I see...   Used so far today  9.15kWh  -- (3)

Why are (1) & (2) different and why do they differ with (3) ie what's shown on my IHD?

If I switch display Units to 'Cost' I get the following:

    Latest Daily Cost    £3.35    -- (4)
    Daily Cost               £3.00    -- (5)

    On my IHD...    £3.03  -- (6)

Again why are (4) & (5) different and why do they not match up with (6) what's on the IHD?

In fact a little earlier it was showing £2.54 for Daily Cost on the Bright App and £3.01 on the IHD, so a bigger difference.

Is it something to do with the refresh rate of the data on the Bright app?
