When you say cuts to go under the fridge and the washing machine, they are coming out so flooring can go under them? That's what should happen.

Where are you buying the vinyl? Can't you get them to fit it? Is the quote for removal and fitting? I had a similar sized room fitted with vinyl for £65, took them about an hour, I purchased from local independant shop and got them to fit it. They did a very nice job.
I'd say you want a flooring specialist to lay this. You might not be bothered if the total vinyl cost is £80, but a lot of vinyl is not cheap nowadays and you don't want it ruined by poor fitting.
You can save some pennies by removing the old vinyl yourself and prepping the floor as well. I went round the floorboards and screwed down any loose or squeaky boards before fitting vinyl and swept it really well too.

    As above.
You want someone to lay a vinyl floor in your kitchen.
So you ask someone who does this all the time for a living.
Not even sure why you are asking builders in the first place.
I didn't. After I mentioned to a handywoman that three flooring shops had refused to fit vinly I bought online, she told me her all-round-builder father lays flooring "all the time" and she invited him round to quote.

Mean the 4m x 3m sheet has to be cut so that parts go under the fridge and washer. Otherwise reader may think there is no cutting to be done with this job.

Online. No. Removal included. No local shop sells or can source the vinyl I want.
My floors are prepped and ready to be laid. Concrete not boards. Many thanks.

You can save even more pennies, by laying the new vinyl on top of the old.
Might not suit every situation, but our experienced fitter recommended it to get an even smoother finish.
The kitchen units plinths needed reducing in size, by a few m to fit in the extra thickness.

There is even the potential to use to the old vinyl as a template. The local fitters employed by carpet stores here would I suspect charge £100 but I don't live anywhere expensive.

Obviously, if there's vinyl down, there must be a reasonable sub-floor. However, if there's some unevenness, you might need self-levelling compound. That would add significantly to the cost.  So, I'd need to understand whether there's a difference between the jobs the different quotes cover.
