I need to take a business cheque to a bank and receive cash. As all cheques are "crossed" to ensure payment into an account, I need to "uncross" the cheque so that I can get cash. What do you mean by a business cheque?

is it a cheque from a business made out to you?

or
is it a cheque made out to your business but you don’t want to pay it into the business bank account , but draw personal cash instead?
