Ovo solicitors CCJ issued

3 years I've had no bill. 3 years I've been asking 3 years I've been stressed and ill. I noticed a ccj on my credit check and now peersuing the solicitors of Ovo. I owe but not the £3000 they are stating.  Calls. Emails to no avail. A letter has arrived stating I can pay from solicitors before 15th January  or it will go further with a ccj. They have issued a ccj already .I really can't grt ant sense from solicitors and Ovonhave said a 30 day block has gone onto the account and ignore solicitors. I can't I have a ccj. Someone please 🙏  help I'm really unwell with all this hassle and threats. Thank you. A very worried single lady ..

So your credit file is showing a ccj. It shows a date, a balance, an issuing court and a reference. Is that correct?

How do you know this is OVO when the credit report does not give this information?

Have you received a court claim from anyone?

You should check with the issuing court to find out what this is. Then apply for setaside. Whoever it is has obtained judgement in default by sending a claim to an address that they know is incorrect. This is a well known tactic and an abuse of process. Parking firms do it all the time.

The people on the parking board have this down to a fine art and you can get the ccj removed and claim back the costs.

You would not have a CCJ until after a court hearing which you would have had several letters about.  Did you get the letters and if so what did you do about them?  If you dodn't get them go back to the court ASAP and find out why.
