Witness signature on flight delay compensation form

Hello all
I've got a hopefully successful case with Singapore airlines for flight compensation (via Resolver). The airlline has sent a form that asks for a witness signature. Does anyone know what this refers to - someone who witnessed the delay? The only people we spoke to at the airport were the airline staff, so there aren't other witnesses. They moved us to a later flight, so should have a record of that, and I can provide copies of the text from the airline indicating we were rebooked - but I'm not sure what the form is asking for (I have asked Singapore airlines to explain, but would appreciate forum guidance),
Thanks!

I assume they are offering you compensation and asking you to accept it in full and final settlement? If so, they want your signature to be witnessed, they already know about the delay!
