Hard lesson to learn. Maybe try and look at ways you can earn that £100 back such as surveys, selling items etc.
I'd recommend making a list of free activities you can do for days when you feel less motivated so you can plan something still.*Dad loan - £5300 - £7000
*Virgin Credit Card - £3552.50 - £0
*Natwest - £1828.35 -£0.00
Barclaycard - £2315.25 - £0.00
Creation Finance - £960.32 £0
*Total debt - £7000/£11641.17*
Savings
*Sinking Fund - £800/£2500
*Emergency Fund - £1000/£1000

Well, what’s done is done, and you’ve proved the value of having an emergency fund. You’re not getting into more debt to pay your fine, for a start.
Pay the fine, learn the lesson, move on. There will be more ‘blips’ to come, it’s life after all. Do you know that Rocky quote about ‘what counts is how hard you can get hit and keep on moving forwards’?
That.

Good luck with your debit free goals.
I had cica £19k in debti 5 years ago...but got in down to 0! You will feel so much better once its gone!
I have read through your diary and there are just a couple of things that stand out, that you might consider doing.
Car Boot (when the weather improves) - Anything you no longer need get shot of and bank the money(I do this twice a year now and make about £80 a time).
I only pay my council tax over 12 months not the normal 10. This means my monthly payments are all about the same, which really helps me budget. I know this has already been said.
I have an excel sheet on the computer with all my bank details of what is coming in and out along with the date (I didn't have this before). I check it daily!
Music Magpie - Got rid of loads of CDs on this website and banked the cash.
BEST ONE: I switched bank accounts and made around £1000 in 3 years! Nationwide was great for me as they gave me a £2k interest free overdraft, which had to be paid back in 1 year- I paid it back, but it gave me that bit of breathing room.
Once you get to about £400 in your emergancy fund- leave it at that, everything else should go on the debit.
Hope this helps and good luck!

No direct debits today
I've made it to 50 daily payments in a row, only very small payments so far, but they keep me focused on paying my debts and managing my money every single day which is very helpful to keep me on track.
Been feeling a little down the last couple of days, but i will be fine it's only temporary. Won't be long until the end of another month and another month closer to my debts paid off

I don’t think the time of year helps. Absolutely sick of winter, and spring isn’t quite close enough to start feeling optimistic. But by the time the clocks go forward, which is only next month, you’ll have made even more progress, and hopefully be feeling a lot better generally. Congratulations on the 50 days of payments. It’s validation that you’re back in control and are heading for calmer waters.Tezzadp said:No money spent today

I love the quotes.
Well done on reaching your goal of 50 days of regular payments. I echo VAP_Driver's comments about achieving your goal and that you're in control.3
